, affiliated to NEB and TU, was established in 2064BS with an aim at developing it as a centre of academic excellence where students truly feel the difference in their learning endeavors. It is located at the heart of Itahari city in Sunsari.

The academic institution is run by a team of young & enthusiastic scholars committed to providing excellent educational opportunities. Currently, it offers management (including hotel management) and science syllabi in ten-plus-two level. Similarly, it also offers BBS and BCA programs affiliated to TU.

The college possesses distinct features which distinguish it from other. It is a center of learning discipline and human culture. The college focuses on maintaining self-discipline among students. It has adopted project and technology-aided teaching and learning activities. Parent counseling is another convincing feature. The college regularly organizes counseling program for parents. In addition, educational tour and regular homework are main-focused areas to enhance students’ learning capacity. The college has also developed a mobile app to observe each and every activity of students. The parents acquire complete information about their children through this app. Not only this, individual care and homely environment is the incomparable assets of the college. We individually care for students and develop self-confidence, self-discipline and ethical values in them through counseling and proper guidance.

The college has focused on extra-curricular activities, too. It has established a separate department to conduct systematized extra-curricular activities. Mega events, talent show, Koshi idol, dance, music, singing, football, volleyball, table tennis etc are timely organized with the view to explore the hidden talents and potentiality of students. So, academic excellence, individual care, provision of quality human resources, focus on extra-curricular activities, project-based learning, focus on exposure and culture of learning are the distinct features of this college.

The college provides sufficient physical facilities to the learners. It has modern buildings with all necessary amenities, such as well-ventilated and spacious classrooms and all sorts of academic facilities. It has a modern computer laboratory, physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, well-stocked library, spacious seminar hall, clean drinking water and power generator for power supply. It also provides transportation facilities to needy students. Moreover, in order to engage students in recreational activities, the college organizes educational tour every year.

The college has provided a number of scholarship schemes for deserving and needy students. We pledge Koshi Ambassador Award to the toppers of Grade Ten of the school wing. We also grant special cash award and full/partial scholarship to entrance test toppers, term exam toppers and marginalized community students. In this regard, the college has established itself to be the top-notch college in the eastern region. Furthermore, the college has also been honoured by Municipal and Provincial governments for ensuring outstanding results in the board examinations. Regarding the status of our graduates, they are showing jaw-dropping attempts and successes in higher studies and in the workplace. Some of them have embraced leading positions in government and private sectors, mainly in banking, civil service, security, medical and engineering sectors.

Koshi Saint James is widely recognized for its appealing physical infrastructures which comprise state-of-the-art facilities under which the learners experience cutting-edge science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), a computer lab, a library and modern classrooms. Students feel excited to learn in a serene and clean environment. Since technology plays a vital role in effective classroom teaching at school and college, the college has implemented multi-media based classes for effective teaching. The college has an ICT classroom where teachers teach students on smart board, which enables them to use audio and visual tutorials to strengthen their pupils understanding in a particular subject.

The college facilitates students with comfortable transportation that has eased the students to reach the college.
