Historical Background
Since its inception in 2046 as New Horizon English Boarding School, the institution has made its niche in the academia of Nepal with its historical achievements. It has the privilege of securing board first results twice and the top ten positions several times in the SLC examinations and being honored with the national flag as the best school in the western development region. Owing to its prime location, fully equipped infrastructure and competent faculty members, it has evolved as an academic hub for the bright scholars. With noted entrepreneurs, social workers, and academic leaders as its bedrocks, New Horizon College has been introducing and extending its academic programs to meet the changing demand of society.
On the way to extend its academic program, it started running Horizon Gautam Buddha School form 2069. Besides, it has been running TU affiliated BSc, BBS, and MBS programs; Pokhara University affiliated BBA and BBA-BI programs; and NEB affiliated +2 programs. The college has begun to run +2 programs separately under Horizon Gautam Buddha School, Drivertole, and New Horizon English Boarding Secondary School, Kalikanagar.
