Basu Higher Secondary School is a leading public school in Bhaktapur. It was established with primary level classes in 2019 BS. The first batch of students appeared SLC in 2044 BS with merely six students. In 2067 SLC, a contingent of 137 students appeared in SLC examinations from this school.
From the academic year 2061, the school has started 10+2 programs in Science, Management streams and added Humanities stream since 2062. There are 70 students in BBs Level, more than 900 students in class 11 and 12 and 1075 students from class nursery to class 10 in the academic year 2068.
