Course Description
Bachelor of pubic health is a four years programme under the faculty of medicine and health science.It is a undergraduate course in public health science.It includes the industrial visit,research project and internship.BPH course imparts knowledge and skills in the students for public healthcare programmes where they get to study subjects focusing on health care programmes,policies and recent developments,social,behavioral and environmental health.They also study about human anatomy,disease and other revalent subjects like woman health ,child and adolescents health and nutritions .After completing this course a students has a potential to work with public health orginazations,in critical case and emergency wards of hospitals,Matrernity care child care and as nutrition consultant.
Admission Guidelines
10+2 Science (Biology stream) or PCL Science (Biology Stream) or PCL/Diploma in Health Sciences (any stream) or equivalent degree as recognized by Pokhara University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Minimum 2.4 CGPA in Aggregate and Minimum C+ Grade in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and Minimum C Grade in other subjects.
