Bachelor of Film studies allow to learn through a hands on approach to the film studies including cinematography,production,editing,Lighting,and sound design.The degree provides further professional development by imparting new qualifications to students and allowing to become more competitive in the workforce.
It is the programme that equips students with fundamental and basic knowledge of the elements of film work side by side.Students will also learn about the unique combination of theoritical knowledge and film making practice.The program teaches a variety of concepts,including visual,story telling,history of film and television and film genre studies.The course including directing,film theory and production,script writting,international cinema,motion picture history,and animation.
Eligibility for Admission for Bachelor in Film Studies
The minimum requirement to join Bachelor of Film Studies course is:
Students should have secured at least D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12.
OR
+ 2 or PCL any equivalent examinations passed in any disciplines( Science, Commerce, Humanities, Education) from any national/ foreign board/ University recognised by Tribhuvan University. The student must have secured at least 40% marks in the last examinations. There is no bar for the person with higher qualifications too. Further the applicant must take the Entrance Examination and face the interview.
